Sure, you can make a dessert by throwing flour and sugar together, but wait—Here’s one that’s healthy: Watch, and get involved with, the making of a dessert for the potluck: Angelina's Ayurvedic Date Pie Dessert, including coconut oil, sauteed dates and a peck of apples. Johnny Appleseed--gone Mediterranean? Chef Lina will give background, instruct, show, and coach. Yummy!
We will make three dessert pies, so there’s a chance to watch and then get involved. If you are ready to learn and engage ideas about food preparation and consumption, then come! An EarthSave potluck will directly follow, wherein the terrific dishes will be celebrated and consumed by happy attendees. http://www.louisville.earthsave.org
